Welcome to CAAN

The Contracted Advice Agencies Network is a non-profit making organisation run by and for independent, not-for-profit advice agencies which operate a Legal Services Commission Unified Civil Contract. We provide a forum for the mutual support and development of independent LSC contracted agencies through a combination of meetings, conferences and the website. 

We have full-day meetings throughout the year, two of which are in February and June.  All meetings are focused entirely on LSC contracting issues whether they are concerned with practical matters around the current contract or looking at proposed changes for the future.

Where possible we also try to influence change by responding to consultation documents and providing evidence where appropriate.

Annual Membership is £96

Membership entitles each member agency to send one delegate to each meeting free of charge; additional delegates are charged at only £25 each; there is also a preferential rate for Conferences.
